• Shouting, swearing, harassing, threatening or humiliating behaviour (verbal, physical or sexual) towards others is unacceptable.
(NOTE: There is a difference between playful 'bullying' with clear set boundaries and consent vs being disparaging and toxic)
• Avoid the uses of offensive terminology derived from pornography and/or slurs.
• Even if you do not understand someone's personal choices in identity or lifestyles, that is not an excuse to mistreat, bully, or stereotype someone.
• We ask that our members abide by streaming platform TOS (Twitch, Youtube, Kick, ect) as violation may negatively impact the reputation of the members of LiminalV.
(NOTE: If banned unfairly, we will help and support you- however if the ban is due to content or behaviours that clearly violate TOS then actions within the group will be taken.)
â—˜- Communication & Respect
• If someone does or says something that is considered harmful, approach them first and open communication before passing judgement. People make mistakes and should be given the opportunity to learn and improve from them.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

This is a reference point for any Vtubers, both current and upcoming, who may be interested in applying for LiminalV. Here we have outlined commonly asked questions. Applicants are more than welcome to @ or DM us on our official LiminalV twitter or within the discord for any further questions or clarifications.
Thanks for reading!

Are we an Agency/Company? Does LiminalV take a cut of my earnings or force me to sign a NDA?
Nope!
We are not an Agency/Company, we are a non profit independent VTuber Group, run by people, for people!
Due to this we do not have any contracts between members and all revenue that each creator makes they get to pocket 100% of their earnings from their own platforms, shops, etc. Because of this all efforts and projects hosted by LiminalV are created by the volunteer's of both community members and the creators themselves.
What if I change my mind later and want to leave the group?
Due to there being no contracts, you aren't locked in with the group by any legal means, so technically your free to leave whenever!
That being said, all we ask is that you inform an Admin in advance before departure from the group, we ask that you also avoid departing within 6 months of joining. We do understand that sometimes life does get in the way too!
As long as you leave on good terms, you're always welcome to return in the future!
What support does LiminalV provide?
Due to us being a small team, we can only provide the support based on the experience and skills of any and all existing members.
Heres a small list of the support we provide:
• Startup artist aid; for if you are not a VTuber at all and need some quick assets.
â—‹ Streaming/platform aid; we have multiple creators who use different platforms
â—‹ Easy low effort collab opportunities
â—‹ Supportive & diverse team!
Benefits of LiminalV are very limited as we are not a company/agency and therefore do not have any budget to fund creators. We function purely on supporting each other and volunteering our skills to members who need it.
We cannot speak 100% on the other members as we have to fill out our wave first, but in my skills alone I can provide: Character Design, PNG vtuber, 3D Vroid Model, OBS support, Vseeface & 3tene support, twitch youtube tiktok & twitter algorithm support, library to resources & cheap/free assets (including affordable customizable starter L2D models under 80$), and more.
Other members have set up some support and resource channels for those accepted into LiminalV, everything from DMCA free music lists, free steam games, vtubing software & more.
Is LiminalV 18+?
All members of LiminalV will be over the age of 18, this is due to safety reasons. Though the content produced by each member can and will vary from creator to creator.
LiminalV's socials & discord will always be proactive to avoid posting or sharing NSFW/Pornographic content to its community members. Though we can only guarantee this within LiminalV monitored spaces and not within the members Livestreams/collabs and will always advise viewers discretion when watching any creators content.
Any and all LiminalV creators who currently or plan to produce NSFW/pornographic content are of the understanding that the group will not advertise it under any circumstances. (Onlyfans, Fansly, etc.)
Is the group willing to accept applicants who are LGBT, BIPOC, etc.?
(Funfact, all leaders so far have been apart of the LGBT. We are the last people to reject someone over their identity!)
We actively want to ensure that no members of LiminalV are experiencing or are exposed to discrimination or bigotry in any way, shape, or form.
Under no circumstances will we be tolerating hateful attitudes to our members, any found to be doing so will be fired out of a cannon into the ocean.
Can I apply if I haven't debuted as a Vtuber yet? Or if I have a small following?
Of course, though we request that you have some form of a debut planned within 1 month of your application and are open to make exceptions on a case by case basis.
We also do not pick and choose our future members based on numbers but on the individual.
Am I required to collab with everyone in the group?
Nope, We understand that sometimes people become shy or anxious and provide other ways to interact with our members!
We are aware that not everyones personality will mesh perfectly with others and only ask that members are respectful and kind to other members!
I have a poorer connection to internet, can I still apply with my limitations?
Yes! as long as you are able to upload or stream at a lower quality we are able to make an exception and understand that no everyone is able to have the picture perfect streaming setup as a smaller creator.
Do I have to have English as a fluent language?
As long as we can understand enough to hold a conversation then theres no stress to be fluent in any language.
Do I have to have a creative skill like singing, art, etc. to join?
Nope! As long as you're you then you can apply!
Do u have limits on games we can play? Examples being League of legends, Honkai & Genshin, Vrchat, ect.
Not to out any of the members of Liminal but we do have a member that plays all of the listed examples. As long as they make you happy and is the type of games you want to create content for then we don't mind what you play!
Are we allowed to swear and say cuss words?
As long as the words are not used to bully/put down someone negatively and do not count as slurs then cursing is fine.
Some examples of the types of cursing we allow is 'Fuck, shit, damn, crap', there are some swears that are unique or have different meaning based on the region they are from, for example the word c*nt in the US is considered a foul curse whereas in UK/Australia it is on the same levels of 'shit, crap' and can have the meaning of 'friend'. When it comes to curses/swears like these it comes down to context and culture.
Are we allowed to use a voice changer?
Yes! we understand that people have different limitations or creative oulets when it comes to their content, and voice changers are totally fine.
HOWEVER. We are aware there are some AI voice changers that steal voice actors and famous peoples voices, we highly advise not using these as they are not only controversial but can also cause the person whose voice has been stolen for said AI to be put in an awkward situation.
Will this be the only opportunity to apply for LiminalV?
NOPE! If you cannot apply to Unit one or do not get accepted into our first wave we will also be hosting a second application within the new year!
Be sure to put yourself first if needed, if you feel like you are currently not ready to join us do not worry, this wont be your only opportunity to join us!
Will we be contacted if we get rejected from LiminalV?
This depends on how many applications we get and if we have a secure way to contact you!
It will mostly always be a yes, and we always will encourage those who do get rejected to apply again for a following future wave of LiminalV as we can only accept small groups of talents at a time.
What games/events take place during the interviews?
Games: anything the interviewer and interviewee shares in common, this can be further discussed for each person. An easy way we'll sort this out with you is by seeing what games you already own before comparing it. If nobody shows any games in common we will help find free alternatives to play with you!
Events: During the interview (can range anywhere from 1-2 hours depending on the context) we'll use this as an opportunity to not only break the ice and get to know you but also ask you some questions based on your application. At the end of the application we'll ask if you have any questions to give us but your more than willing to bounce back and forth with us throughout the interview.
You can ask questions that have already been asked btw! it shows interest but remember, this is not a job interview! So the only way to get a wrong answer is by trying!
I already have an existing persona/vtuber, but if I join LiminalV I want to create a new one, can I do that?
Yes, you can, though there is no pressure to change for us!
Whats the timeline of being accepted into LiminalV to Debut? How long of a timeframe have we got to prepare?
We will be conducting interviews for successful applicants during the application phase as they come in, and start confirming members once the application phase is over and most interviews are completed. It'll look like this: Apply > Interviewed > accepted > plan & work > Debut, Some members will recieve their interviews after the application phase so don't worry if applications close and you havent been interviewed yet. Those who get accepted early into LiminalV can also participate in voting for new members of the same wave but cannot partake in interviews of said same wave.
We are basing our debut's around the other members, when applications close we will immediately debut our members that have already gotten their feet into LiminalV pre-application (these are the same people as seen in some advertising, they helped form the group), followed by those who do not need any further than basic assistance, then by those who need help with starting from scratch. We will base it on the workload and will try our best to not debut too many talents within the same week to help space it out!
While there is no set timeline, we hope to have everyone debuted before the new year when we will be doing our second round of applications.
Are you planning on having a debut for all of Unit 1? Or would it just be some kind of reveal trailer?
We plan to do both, we will first work on a group teaser, then slowly roll out advertising trailers as the group debuts. During debuts we are more than ok with other post-debut members 'reacting' to others debuts as long they mute the audio on their stream and link the new talent (similar to how some agencies do it). Though keep in mind you'll need to get the debuting talents permission!
Once everyone is debuted we'll plan a group collab, we understand that due to timezones not everyone will be able to attend but we will try our best in finding a time and day for as many creators to join as possible, if a few can't make it dont worry! there will be other days to collab and theres no pressure!
How do you confirm people are over the age of 18?
This is mainly comes down to a trust system, as we are not a company we cannot and will not collect ID's on entry and due to the group being consistent of SFW creators there would be no push to confirm. HOWEVER, we have some safety measures for the rare situation of someone who is underaged lying about being over 18. This issue will not be handled by the individual members/talents but of the admins.
â—‹ If they produce SFW content (swearing is fine), we will have a discussion with that member and ask them to verify their age, they can voluntarily show their ID, if proven to be a minor on joining and current in the group, they will be quietly removed for their safety, same goes for if a minor joins but ages to over 18 while in liminal.
â—‹ If they produce NSFW/pornographic content (plz god no), we will ask for ID with doxxing information to be censored (i.e full name, ID number & adress) only leaving the DOB and it next to a piece of paper with their social media usernames and the date. If proven under 18 there will be an immediate removal without warning and reporting them to each website they post to & discord, as well as warning fellow creators of said behaviour as it is very dangerous.
â—‹ All minors who join LiminalV without clarrifying beforehand that they are not over 18 will be removed from LiminalV spaces and blacklisted from events, collab opportunities & members channels. This is for their safety as well as ours. If they cannot respect that then we cannot accept them into our space.
IF YOU ARE A MINOR RN READING THIS
Please be paitent and wait until you are 18 or older, the risks of getting caught in such a lie can damage your future in streaming, most adults after catching a minor in adult spaces, even after they have turned 18, have blacklists, don't put yourself on there. There is such thing as a digital footprint and malicious people who dig into creators histories 10 years+ after any controversies they've made. Be smart and safe!
What if I leave LiminalV to join another group? will there be bad blood or can I still collab?
As long as you leave on peaceful & respectful terms, we are more than willing to have you collaborate with our members or even return to the same wave at a later date if needed. We see no reason to shoot friendships in the foot just because a creator wants to do something new! We are a supportive community first and a Content Creation group second.
How will you ensure the community of LiminalV for the group members is safe?
It depends on the situations that happen in the future we have our Code of Conduct that group members follow and when needed we will create a blacklist of users so both current and new members can be safe and vigilant. (people will only be placed on a blacklist if they are extremely harmful to members as well as the community, this will not be a public blacklist but is up for change)
Am I still able to collab with people outside of LiminalV if I join?
Of course, we would never expect you to cut ties and fully commit to only creating content with our group and highly encourage reaching out to other creators.
Can I apply with friends/mods and join together?
Yes! You can even specify if you want to join only if xyz person gets accepted too, though keep in mind this might lower your chance as if the other member doesn't get accepted we'll assume you don't want to join.
If you're a duo streamer (2 people who share the 1 platform), you can use the same application sheet for both but be sure to specify you're a duo to avoid confusion.
Worse case scenario if you get accepted but your friends dont we can easily set them up as a collab partner and they are always welcome to join future units!
While we don't really have many spare spaces for moderators to moderate, we are more than willing to accept applications to moderate for LiminalV's discord server in apply-for-moderator chat.
Normal members can also apply to mod too!
How will LiminalV help me if I get doxxed?
As doxxing is considered a crime in most countries, it will be treated as such.
We'll help you gather socials and information that is relevant such as discord ID's, alt usernames, ect as best to our abilities in case you wish to seek some form of defence/legal action for any damages as well as placing said person on our blacklist. Our blacklist will be accessible to other streamers/creators for their own safety too.
If the person who doxxed you is an official member of LiminalV whether that be a moderator, crew member or talent, they will be exiled immediately without warning from the group for the safety of our other members and a public announcement will be made to advise our community around said action.
We will never consider criminal activity to be drama and will take all safety measures as best to our abilities.
What should I expect if I get offered a sponsorship, merch, or charity opportunity?
With anything involving money, we leave that up to the individual to handle.
We will never refuse sponsorships or deals if a talent wishes to accept them, we have no aims to turn LiminalV into a business and aim for it to be a supportive community and creator hub. We are accepting vtubers who are hobbyists as well as businesses, to become a business would force any hobbyist to also become one or be placed in an awkward or unbalanced situation.
When it comes to sponsorships, merch, charities or any form of funded project, if you wish to seek out advice or guidance, we are more than willing to help as best as we can but will never touch a cent of your money.
If its a joint financial situation between you and another LiminalV member then it is to be handled between both parties.
Do you expect a certain amount of content from me per week?
No. While its good to make things once a week at least we do understand that sometimes life happens and you'll need a break.
We don't mind if you have to suddenly go on hiatus or have a few days to weeks off from vtubing/streaming until your personal issues are all sorted. We will never expect you to work beyond your limits in an unpaid position.
